It is common that one may be applying for a number of positions at the same time and many may resolve to a one-size-fits-all resume. It may be ok sometime but, in many scenarios, your overly generalised resume would not be as highly regarded as the ones that are customised.
If you already made a one-size-fits-all resume, compare it with the selection criteria listed on the job ad, remove the points that are irrelevant and edit/rephrase existing points that demonstrate your ability towards the criteria listed. It may take extra 30 mins but it’d definitely position yourself better.
Remember, even if the position titles of 2 job vacancies are the same, their criteria content could be different, so your applications should not be identical if you’re applying for both.
