Australian Family Bonding Adventure Program
(Suitable for students aged 8 to 13 year old accompanied by parents)

(I) Program Objectives

Family Bonding Adventure tour seeks to build team spirit, self-confidence and independence in children through its engaging activities with parental support. This adventure program of experiencing unique Australian culture and well-planned activities will allow a child to broaden their international perspective and develop potential for greater success.

(II) Program Activities

Australian Family Bonding Adventure includes a 10-day program in Melbourne and optional extended tour to Sydney and Gold Coast. During the program, we emphasise on interpersonal interaction, teamwork and to experience diversities in life.

Our dedicated teacher will use lively teaching methods to guide the children in painting and in hand making traditional Australian food. While watching local films, children can have the opportunity to learn conversational English. Through visits to the National Gallery of Victoria, SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium, Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne Museum, Puffing Billy railway, children can experience the charm of the vibrant city as well as its local culture and history.

Teams will be formed in which the parents and children can have fun in organised sports such as indoor bubble soccer, laser tag, bowling, mini golf and indoor rock climbing. New friendships will be forged and parent-child bonding will strengthen over these interesting and exciting activities.

(III) Fees

Adult: RMB 29,000, Child: RMB 23,000
Additional fee for 6-day trip to Sydney and Gold Coast
Adult: RMB 10, 000, Child: RMB 8,000
Fees are inclusive of course program and material fees, accommodation, return ticket, local transportation, visa application fees, dining expenses and insurance. The fees do not include personal expenses.

(IV) Registration Period
Registration period begins on September 1 2015 and will close on 30 November 2015.

(V) Study Tour Program
Program schedules can be tailored to your specific needs.

  • Day 1 Departure – Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou
    Arrival at Melbourne International Airport and check in Melbourne accommodation.
  • Day 2 Arts lesson – Under the skilful guidance of an art teacher, children’s appreciation and talent in Art could be nurtured. Parents could gain an insight into western teaching style.
    Scienceworks – through fun hands-on participation and watching live demonstrations with their parents, children could satisfy their curiosity and learn more about Science and Technology.
  • Day 3 Tour to Melbourne’s reputable primary and secondary schools – experience Australian education and enjoy an exchange with teachers and students New Indoor Bubble Soccer – sports to promote teamwork and collaboration while having fun. Parents and children will be split into two groups.
  • Day 4 SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium – Through the amazing underwater journey, both parents and children would experience the wonders of the aquatic environment and discover world’s aquatic special creatures such as dugongs, sharks, turtles, jellyfish, platypus, penguins, sea dragons and thousands of tropical fish.

    Laser Tag and Bowling – Laser Tag battle is a mind game and requires participants to work together as a team to protect one another, conquer various obstacles and eventually to defeat the opponents.

    • Day 5 Parent & child culinary lesson – Taught by professional chef in a casual and fun atmosphere, parents and children will handmade a dessert together. Lunar Park Melbourne – thriller rides in famous amusement park
      St. Kilda Beach – one of Melbourne’s most famous beaches
    • Day 6 Phillip Island – Visit Chocolate Factory & watch Penguin Parade, a magnificent return of fairy penguins to their burrows along the beach in Phillip Island.
    • Day 7 18-hole indoor Glowing Black Light Mini Golf – children can enjoy their golf games in the glowing attraction. National Gallery of Victoria – one of Australia’s biggest galleries which holds a wide range of collections from Australia, Asia, Europe and pre-Columbian era.
    • Day 8 Indoor Rock Climbing Centre – offers diverse range of well-designed climbing walls of various challenging levels. Rock Climbing is a full body workout and can improve one’s endurance and determination. Melbourne Museum – biggest museum in the Southern Hemisphere, offers insight to Australia’s culture and history, Aboriginal culture and its technological advances.
    • Day 9 Cinema – Watch a local film and learn conversational English while gaining an understanding of Australian film history and having a glimpse of its movie stars. Puffing Billy – Ride Melbourne’s famous century-old steam train, one of the most well-preserved steam railways in the world.
      Seasonal fruit picking – children could have fun picking strawberries, cherries or blueberries.
      Return to China or Departure to Sydney

    Sydney Itinerary

    • Day 10 Sydney Opera House – discover the stories and history of this iconic landmark by taking the Sydney Opera House tour.
      Sydney Harbour Bridge – Also known as the ‘Coat hanger’, is a magnificent arc bridge which is a historical landmark of Sydney. Interested healthy participants can climb the bridge under the guidance of the Climb Leader (at own expense).
      Darling Harbour – Sydney’s large harbour side scenic recreational area, it is a perfect place to relax or visit SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium or Australian National Maritime Museum.
    • Day 11 Queen Victoria Building – built in the 19th century and is Sydney’s beautiful shopping street, home to more than 180 fashion boutiques, cafes and restaurants. Across the street is vibrant Sydney’s Chinatown and experience its distinctive flavour.
      Sydney Fish Market – provides seafood lovers the opportunity to experience the hustle and bustle of a fish market. It is the largest seafood market in Southern Hemisphere where visitors can also enjoy their meals while overlooking the sea.
    • Day 12 Taronga Zoo – Overlooking Sydney Harbour Bridge and situated in lush greeneries, it is home to over 4000 animals, including Australian native wildlife, as well as rare and endangered exotic animals. Visitors could experience close encounter with koalas and other Australian wildlife. Children can learn more about the animals in various keeper talks, animal feeding and interesting animal shows. Head to Gold Coast in the afternoon.

    Gold Coast Itinerary

    • Day 13 Dream World – one of Australia’s most popular theme park and children’s fun land. Filled with thrill rides, entertainment activities and animal experience, all children will treasure this unforgettable happy experience.
    • Day 14 Sea World – Australia’s largest marine animal theme park, offering fun and adventure to all. Children can venture into an adventure in the Cochrane Polar Bear Habit, Penguin icy wonderland, Seal Harbour, Dolphin lagoon and Ray Reef exhibit. They can watch the exciting Fish Detectives show and enjoy fun rides.
    • Day 15 Warner Bros. Movie World- Enjoy a day of photo shoots with your favourite cartoon characters and superheros, including Bugs Bunny, Batman and many more. Watch live action-packed performances and all-star parade. Immerse yourself among the stars and enjoy the fun of first-class rides.
    • Day 16 Home Sweet Home
