GBCA is attending the inaugural China International Import Expo

Global Business College of Australia (GBCA) is delighted to take part in the inaugural China International Import Expo (CIIE), held at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai. 

CIIE is hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China with Shanghai Municipal People’s Government and organised by China International Import Expo Bureau. This Expo is the first and the largest of its kind and partnered with important global organisations including the World Trade Organization, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and United Nations Industrial Development Organization. CIIE is China’s official welcome to the world’s economy, selected delegates from over 100 countries had taken part.  

GBCA is one of the only 10 Australian tertiary education providers exhibiting at this Expo this year, other Australian delegations from the education sector include:

To celebrate Diwali (also known as Deepavali) – a time of the year that is equally amazing as the Lunar New Year and Nowruz, GBCA Queen Street Campus will host a lunch gathering – all students, trainers and friends, no matter what your cultural heritage is, are welcomed!

This is GBCA’s biggest multicultural event just yet! GBCA is an international college that people of different walks of life come together to learn and be part of a community.

Student Satisfaction with GBCA Remains High

Thank you to all of our students who took part in the end of unit student survey! The results were very enlightening for us at GBCA. We are so glad to see our students marked the results we were impressed with:

  • More than 99% of our students were satisfied with the training overall!
  • More than 97% of students strongly agreed and satisfied that they felt the training prepared them for work.
  • 97.5% of students satisfied our training facilities and materials.

These outstanding results are really encouraging for our future students who we hope will choose to study with us at GBCA.

GBCA has entered into an recognition arrangement with Explore English

Date: 22-June-18

GBCA has entered into an recognition arrangement with Explore English ( RTO No.22172 CRICOS Number: 03024A).

This recognition arrangement facilitates direct entry to GBCA’s Vocational programs. Students who successfully complete General English – upper intermediate or English for Academic English 1 at the NEAS accredited Explore English centre will automatically meet the English entry requirements into GBCA’s VET programs. Students completing GBCA’s Diploma of IT may gain up to one year credit exemption of the Bachelor of IT at University of Canberra and Deakin University. Students completing GBCA’s Diploma of Business may gain up to one year credit exemption of the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) at University of Canberra.

This is a great opportunity for international students to have various options and fulfil their dreams of studying and working in Australia.
