Project Background
“Enjoy Cantonese Cuisine — Start Lingnan Cuisine Culture Experience Tour” is the “Chinese Bridge” online group exchange project of the Chinese-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education, PRC.
Curriculum Features
The course, conducted on the weekday period between 2 January 2023 to 13 January 2023, includes live teaching and viewing and video recording sessions at 13:00-13:45 and 14:00-14:45 Australian time, respectively.
Main features of the course:
- Enjoy delicious food and learn Chinese: Students can learn 18 common Chinese sentences
- 9 Typical Chinese sentence patterns or knowledge points.
- Listen to the stories of famous teachers on Cantonese cuisine for 4 long lectures.
- Enjoy 14 delicacies made by Cantonese cuisine masters, and visit the Chinese cooking practice base.
- Participate in the knowledge quiz with prizes, poster contest and other links.
- The poster competition is to combine the characteristics of Australian food and dining customs, put forward the integration of Australian food and Chinese Cantonese cuisine.
