Course Description

This course is designed for students who want to enter the business environment with a strong foundation of business & technology skills. This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to work as a digital marketer. This is a hybrid course that equip students with a combination of business techno skills to enter a digital marketing environment. Students will learn to:

  • Design, develop and edit website
  • Develop landing page and create sales funnel
  • Integrating social web technology to a website and manage key word research (SEO).
  • Create and optimise digital media user experience by utilising current digital media and social marketing tools.
  • Produce 2D multimedia images and animations

Students who completing this program may continue pursuing the Diploma of IT or Diploma of Business offered by GBCA as part of their package courses.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must satisfy all requirements as below:

Academic requirement:

  • Satisfactory completion of Australian Year 11 or equivalent or higher

Language requirement:

  • Minimum of IELTS 5.5 (no band less than 5) or equivalent, or
  • Successfully complete the GBCA English for Academic Purposes (EAP1)

Material Requirement

Students are required to bring their own laptop with Microsoft Office 2007 or a later version installed for face to face classes.

Assessment Methods

A variety of assessment methods will be used throughout the course, including: Observation of students performing role playing, Portfolio of Work, Written report, Observation of Presentation, Analysis of case study/Response to simulated work scenario or Written questioning
